Safety & wellbeing
Coming soonA confidential first point of contact for women facing family harm, unsafe housing or coercive situations, with warm referrals to the specialist services that can help.
Mana Women's Hub
Mana Women's Hub is being built as a dedicated space supporting Indian women across Aotearoa — whatever you are navigating.
From settling into a new country to raising a family, building a career, starting a business or facing something difficult, the challenges women carry here are rarely just one thing at a time. This hub is being set up to meet all of them in one trusted place, rather than leaving people to piece together help from a dozen different organisations.
We are working with community groups, practitioners and specialist services across New Zealand to get this right before we open it. Every service below is on its way.
What we are building
A confidential first point of contact for women facing family harm, unsafe housing or coercive situations, with warm referrals to the specialist services that can help.
Connecting women with mentors who have walked the same road, plus circles for those stepping into leadership, governance or starting a business of their own.
Practical help with New Zealand CVs, interviews, recognition of overseas qualifications, and returning to work after time away raising a family or arriving here.
Plain guidance on enrolling with a GP, maternity and Well Child care, mental health support, and the culturally safe practitioners available near you.
Signposting for visa and residence questions, employment rights, tenancy disputes and family law, so nobody has to work out where to start on their own.
Local groups, meet-ups and events where women can find friendship and practical support, especially in the first years after arriving in Aotearoa.
Register your interest and we will let you know the moment Mana Women's Hub opens — and we will ask what you need from it first.
