Aroha Digital Labs is an eight-person studio in the Auckland CBD building web and mobile products for New Zealand businesses. Most of our work starts the same way: a company has outgrown a website builder, or is running an important process on a spreadsheet that three people are afraid to touch. We work in fixed stages with a fixed price for each one, so you can stop after discovery if the numbers do not add up. Everything we build is handed over with the source code, the deployment pipeline and a written runbook — we would rather you could leave than have you locked in.
A complete build, from sitemap to launch. You get a design in Figma before a line of code is written, a content model your team can edit without calling us, and a Lighthouse score above 95 on mobile. We migrate your existing content and set up redirects for every old URL, so the search ranking you have already earned survives the move.
We set up Shopify properly for a New Zealand seller: GST configured correctly, NZ Post and Aramex rates wired in, and Afterpay and POLi available at checkout. Includes a product import from whatever you have now — a spreadsheet, a Facebook catalogue, or an old site we can scrape.
We map the process you run by hand, then automate the parts that are safe to automate and leave a human in the loop where it matters. Typical jobs: quote generation, invoice chasing, job scheduling, and internal assistants that answer questions from your own documents. We are explicit about what AI should not decide on its own, and we will tell you when the honest answer is a better spreadsheet.
