The Waikato's Murugan temple, built by the community over six years of weekend working bees. Abhishekam every Friday evening, and a Thaipusam kavadi procession each year that draws people from as far as New Plymouth. The temple is small and volunteer-run. If you come on a Friday you will probably be handed something to carry.
