Thaipusam at the Waikato's Murugan temple: kavadi bearers assemble at dawn, the procession leaves at six, and milk abhishekam runs through the morning.
Annadanam is served from eleven. Visitors of any faith are welcome — please remove shoes at the gate and dress modestly.
